At a small creative agency, your different hats are piled high (the higher the hats, the closer to…insanity? probably), but when your job combines your favorite things —creativity, strategy, and, hello, WINE—you really can’t complain too much.
While leading a cross-functional creative team in creative direction and strategy (and on some lucky Fridays, wine tasting), I also managed and wrote all copy for the agency’s largest account: 11 wine brands from Constellations Brands—The Prisoner Wine Company, The Dreaming Tree Wines, Robert Mondavi, Meomi, Franciscan Estates, Wild Horse Winery, Simi, Clos de Bois, Mount Veeder Winery, Bottle Collective, and Ravenswood.
Not only was I able to hone my skills in succinct and effective email copy, switching seamlessly between a multitude of brand voices, and multitasking like a mother, but I also got pretty good at the 5 S’s (see, swirl, sniff, sip, savor).
